2. General Information on Data Processing

We only process personal data of our users to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. Processing is generally carried out only with the user's consent, or on another legal basis permitted under Article 6 GDPR.

3. Hosting and Server Log Files

When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits automatically (e.g. IP address, date and time of the request, browser type, operating system, referrer URL). This data is not merged with other data sources. Legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of our website).

4. "Free Guide" Contact Form

When you request our free email marketing playbook via the form, we collect your first name and email address to send you the PDF. Because you actively consent to this by submitting the form, processing is based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. by emailing hello@sevclick.com.

Optional Newsletter Sign-up

You may additionally opt in via a separate checkbox to receive regular marketing emails (newsletter). This consent is voluntary and independent of the PDF delivery. Legal basis is likewise Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. We use a double opt-in process for the newsletter sign-up: after signing up, you receive a confirmation email and must actively confirm your subscription before receiving regular emails. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

5. Service Providers (Data Processors)

Klaviyo

We use the email marketing platform Klaviyo (Klaviyo Inc., 225 Franklin Street, Boston, MA, USA) to send emails, manage contact lists, and process newsletter sign-ups. A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place with Klaviyo. More information: klaviyo.com/privacy.

Calendly

To book calls, we embed the scheduling service Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA) via an iframe. When the booking calendar loads, data is transmitted to Calendly, including your IP address and the details you provide in the booking form (name, email address, selected time slot). Legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent through active use of the calendar) or Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the booking serves to initiate a contract. More information: calendly.com/privacy.

Google Fonts

This website uses Google Fonts, a service of Google Ireland Limited, for consistent display of typefaces. When the page is loaded, fonts are retrieved from Google's servers, which technically transmits your IP address to Google. Legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a consistent and performant presentation of the website).

Website Analytics (Leadsy)

We use an analytics and retargeting service to evaluate visitor behavior in order to improve our offering and display relevant content. This may involve creating pseudonymous usage profiles. Legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), to the extent consent is required under applicable law. You can withdraw consent already given at any time.

Note: Where this website uses a cookie consent banner, tracking scripts only activate after your active consent. Without active consent management, non-essential scripts such as tracking tags may not load prior to consent under GDPR/applicable e-privacy law – please verify this technically if no consent banner is yet in place.

6. International Data Transfers

As this website serves visitors internationally, some service providers listed above (e.g. Klaviyo, Calendly) may process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards under GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, as implemented by the relevant provider.

7. Retention Period

Personal data is deleted once the purpose of processing no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. commercial or tax law retention periods of up to 10 years for invoicing data) apply.

8. Your Rights

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

To exercise these rights, simply send an informal email to hello@sevclick.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the data protection authority of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
